about me

On trips, driven by desire or necessity, I've taken to photographing landscapes and atmospheres. Taking photos is about learning to take my time, or more precisely, reclaiming it to escape the pressure for instant gratification and immediate results. Going out to take photos is a pretext for gaining distance and perspective, leaving the plains to vibrate with the frenetic sounds of their phones. Taking photos is about stepping away to breathe. Taking photos is about seeing differently, without filters and without the constraints of conformity. So, sometimes I take my camera, my distance, some time, bread, cheese, and the promise of escape...
